We had no need to go anywhere so just watched this event from the warmth of our travel trailer. Now it's dripping melting snow everywhere and soon nothing will be left. Y...We were glad we went to see the Sandhill Cranes. Yes, they were a cool site to visit. Today we already have a blue sky, the sun is out and with the predicted +8C the snow will be gone in no time. It'll be a feast for your eyes as well as for your ears. The unpaved roads are dusty though. We have heard what they sound like while in Florida but can't imagine what that many would sound like.<br />You will have no problems getting around being used to the Snow back home. These areas are not equipped to deal with it and that is why they panic.
