Where are we now?
Town and Country RV, Roswell, NM
We certainly had some wild weather here in Roswell, New Mexico but I don’t think we can blame it on the Aliens. On Tuesday there was hail thrashing down onto our travel trailer and Wednesday the wind howled at 64 miles/100 km an hour with higher gusts that shook us pretty good, uprooted trees, peeled the siding of a high-rise and flipped a tractor trailer on the highway. In addition the sky was filled with sand blowing everywhere, so don’t ask how our truck looked afterward. It needs another major wash and maybe an air filter for the engine!
Today we went to the main attraction of Roswell, the UFO Museum. Its March Break so the place was packed with kids, Aliens and UFO fanatics and chasers, plus tourists like us. Of course we took some pictures, but mostly of gaudy displays and such. But aside of all the kitschy displays, in earnest, there is a ton of written information, photos and objects in that museum to back up that our earth had been visited by extraterrestrials sometime ago and not just in one place, but at different places of our planet earth.
If you are now shaking your head and saying, “Yeah right” next time you are passing through Roswell, or are close enough to be able to afford a little detour to the museum, please go. It sure has an interesting accumulation of testimonials from pilots, military and individuals who had some kind of exposure to the claim of having seen something J
Like yourselves we found the Testimonials very convincing. One from the General in charge said it had to be hushed otherwise it could ruin a Billion Dollar a year Business. (The Church)
ReplyDeleteBe Safe and Glad you Enjoyed the Museum.
It's about time.
You are right, but not only that, it might have caused pandemonium at the time.
DeleteIn 2014, my mother lived in assisted living in Roswell. One of her housemates was the wife (Juanita...) of the rancher on whose land the UFO landed. She was suffering the effects of very old age at that point, but she said it was all real. An online search revealed Juanita featured in the news at the time it all happened. Very interesting.
ReplyDeleteThere is enough evidence compiled in this museum to back up all testimonials. And why shouldn't it have been true? It's just too bad some of the displays had been made silly.
DeleteWell the aliens must have decided the earth wasn't worth it.Have not seen them since.
ReplyDeleteThat could be true. Also travel time might be an issue.
DeleteYou sure got some weather there, glad you are ok.
ReplyDeleteVisiting that UFO Museum is a very interesting eye opener and does bring up the question that has been there for years, Was it true or a cover up.
One thing is for certain, they weren't green!
Deleteglad you are safe and sound. We enjoyed our tour of the museum also. Take care and safe travels.
ReplyDeleteWasn't that an interesting museum? We did enjoy it.
DeleteHappy to hear you took the museum tour. It is a bit pricey but we thought worth it once. It is fascinating, and I don't believe it is all far fetched. We enjoyed Roswell last year, glad you did too. Be safe in your future travels!
ReplyDeleteWe did follow your post last year and because of it, we put it onto our to see list! Being a senior has some benefits sometimes ;-)
DeleteWe were there several years ago and found it interesting. I could have spent longer reading every piece of paper but we had to get back to the girls. I think they made some silly displays in order to get more people to visit.
ReplyDeleteGlad you survived that extreme weather situation.
There might be an ulterior motive behind the gaudy displays in addition to the believable testimonies. And yes, if everybody knew it was a true event it would have consequences.
